No Tears Over Dead Atheists

Seriously, does anybody ever cry at an Atheist's funeral? I mean, since Atheists have no value whatsoever as human beings (they're not even human, but only inhuman animals), since Atheists are nothing but miserable Liars, Cowards and Murderers, after all, why would anybody in their right mind weep over the dead rotting corpse, or bone chips and ashes (that get mixed together with those of others from the crematory) of a worthless dead Atheist?

And what epitaph do you engrave on an Atheist's grave marker? "Here lies the only good Atheist, which is a dead Atheist". What else is there say? Nothing at all. No last words, no last rites, no flowers, no anything.

Every time an Atheist dies, the world is better off as a result of that dead Atheist being dead, & its damned God-forsaken soul burning in the fiery pits of Hades. :)

Which begs another related question, do Atheists cry at funerals? If so, why? Since Atheists hate God, and they hate Family, and they hate Country, who are they crying for? It is true: The only good Atheist is a dead Atheist.

I pray that every Atheist in America attend a funeral for a loved one this year, and every year until they are dead and their filthy God-hating souls are roasting in Hellfire.

No Condolences,
Daniel Joseph Min

I just saw this piece of drivel over on Shelley the Republican.

It is rather depressing that people really think like that.

Anita said...

Where do you find these things?

Chris_the_Blogger said...

Kevin: I feel strangely okey with it. I am sure that this piece would result in a net flow of people and/or good will towards rather than away from atheism.

Anita: Shelly the Republican.

Hopefully it is serves as a wake up call for those people who think that religion is great because it breeds kind, tolerant and loving people.

Think this is interesting? Then you have to check out this guy’s website:

At www.freewebs.com/danieljosephmin

He’s into all sorts of weird crap: tarot Card reading, astrology, and other fun stuff. These “extra” beliefs of his, by the way, will send him straight to hell, should there be a hell as described in the Christian faith. I know a lot of Christians and, believe me, this extra stuff he’s into is the “work of the devil” – straight up (their words, not mine).

Now… this fact could be good OR bad, depending on where you end up, in the end. If he’s right, and there is a hell (or “Hades”… he might be Greek), then all atheists will end up spending eternity… with HIM. A whole new meaning to the word “hell”…

…or “Hades”…

Maybe it is worth rethinking Pascal’s wager…

Do you hate sanity? What has reality ever done to you? It isn't its fault it isn't exactly what you wanted.

Why it almost sounds like he has a problem with atheists or something. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding though. :D

This is what happens when you don't live in reality. You miss out on obvious facts, like how atheists care about their family and friends and are just as sad to lose them as a theist.

Perhaps they experience even more grief because they don't live in la la land, believing they will see some of these dead people in an imaginary place after they die. It hurts to lose someone you love, no matter which gods you do or do not pray to.

Good one, KC. Yeah. I wish this guy would tell us how he really feels about atheists. I mean... it isn't quite clear. Maybe he never met an atheist he liked.

Seems to me like someone's a little grumpy. What's the matter, buddy, draw a bad tarot card out of the deck this morning? Maybe you'll get the death card where it counts, soon. Then you can have a WONDERFUL funeral. And then you can go hold hands with Jesus, read eachother's horoscope, and study the movement of the stars and planets together, forever. Have fun with that.

If you don't mind (which I'm sure you do - but who cares?) I'll just be hanging out with my atheist friends. At least they've got some common sense, a little more decency, and are a wee bitty bit more cheerful than you, grump meister. You probably don't know this, but atheists throw great parties. Seriously. And No... after your childish tirade above, you will probably never be invited.

This guy could have saved some wear and tear on his keyboard if he had just written:

"I HATE ATHEISTS! I HATE THEM, HATE THEM, HATE THEM, HATE THEM!"

Guess what, Mr. Min? Back at ya!

Um. Since the vast majority of atheists are still surrounded by a community comprised mainly of theists (ie, "I'm the only atheist in my extended family and group of friends"), what you're asking for is for God to kill an awful lot of believers. Besides, killing every single atheist currently alive wouldn't bring an end to atheism. People would still question. The idea would still be there. You would have accomplished nothing except the genocide of a group of people who are, generally speaking, well-educated and compassionate individuals.

Given the astounding magnitude of your willful ignorance, nevermind your thirst for violence and vindictiveness, it's no wonder you're so eager to worship an imaginary tyrant.

Apologies! I caught a link from Atheism Central and didn't immediately notice this is a repost. Comments are obviously directed at Daniel, not you. :) My bad.

Dark: Why did you give the game away! I wanted to see how long this could go on for!

I even had a few anti-atheist rants of my own planned.

But I will pick apart a little bit of what was said:

I think the notion that atheists throw great parties is as much based on faith as is creationism. Where is your empirical evidence, Anon12:57PM? A whole lot of Physics dorks sitting around talking about Warhammer or Derrida or some shit. That isn't fun!

To get a feeling for my real position on religion go here.

Chris_the_Blogger said...

Also dark: I agree with what you are saying but allow me to add a little addendum:

"...the vast majority of atheists in the United States are still surrounded by a community comprised mainly of theists..."

Happily, in Australia very few people take religion seriously.

*Shakes head*

I sometimes wonder about these people who use religion as an excuse for being so hateful towards particular groups. I had to goto church weekly when I was in primary school, and I never got these messages from the texts I was read. The general idea of the teachings of god is to be kind and 'love one another' e.c.t.

Is he high whenever he goes to church? Or is he so annoyed and mentally retarted that all he hears when they start talking about loving each other is that atheists are immoral people who don't deserve to live?

I don't think religion is the problem. Some people are just assholes who hate anyone who own different opinions! For me, religion isn't a factor when annalysing whether someone is a kind/loving person. I look at other traits.

alex: Are you and I reading the same bible?

It is violent and awful. Those Westboro Baptist people are right about one and only one thing: anyone who disagrees with their interpretation of the bible do not understand it.

“I think the notion that atheists throw great parties is as much based on faith as is creationism. Where is your empirical evidence, Anon12:57PM?”

Actually, my comments were laced with sarcasm – maybe too subtly for some. That atheists throw great parties is of course a stupid generalization that was supposed to be sarcastic, and maybe, just maybe, slightly humorous for a reader who is less serious, dark and despicable as Mr. Min. I mean, come on, “empirical evidence” of a good party?! Were you being serious? I guess not based on your Warhammer party comment… but you should have at least figured out my attempt.

(Shhh. I was also trying to make Mr. Min feel out of the loop. Like he’s missing out on the wonderful, fun world of atheists, atheism and atheist parties… but you shot that all to hell, didn’t you? Great, now everyone knows we’re geeks.)

. . . . .

BTW: “Mr. Min” - Is that a good name for a super villain or what? We may all need to keep our eyes on this guy.

I wonder if he’s a doctor.

“Doctor Min.”

Yikes!

So, Chris,

Is the above rant basically all made up by you, posing as D.J. Min?

Ahh, Good old christian love and compassion. It's nice to see so many "christians" confirming what we knew all along, That christians are hate filled, vindictive filth who use their religion as an excuse for being sociopaths.

Yes, I wonder what they would put on the epitaph of an atheist. because surely you, As a christian, Have done so much more for humanity in your pitiful little life than atheists such as Einstein, Chomsky, Marie curie, Carl Sagan or Thomas Edison. Their epitaph can't possibly be as good as your epitaph that will no doubt read; "pitiful man who spent his pitiful life worshiping a god that doesn't exist and hating anyone who disagreed".

As for crying at funerals. Atheists have more right to cry as they don't believe in heaven. More to the point, Why do christians cry if they believe the dead have gone to a "better place"? Surely seeing your mother, father, sister or son die should make you extremely happy.

Now you have been put in your place, Go crawl back under whichever primitive rock you came from and take your invisible friend with you. 2008 has no place for either of you.

Kathryne said...

My goodness, Chris, you're popular...where do these people come from?

Anyway, just so you know...I'll cry at your funeral, even though you're an atheist.

This is fantastic. I love the misinterpretation. People should read comments before posting. Don't worry Chris, if they haven't figured it out by the time they get to my comment, they won't read it anyway!

GBG: I'm not usually one to pick on details when there's a larger argument going on, but Einstein wasn't an atheist.

Chris_the_Blogger said...

I reposted the nonsense in the body of the post after finding it on STR and then alt.atheism. I did this because it was funny that a person could actually think that way. A largish atheist website from the United States reposted it with a link to my blog. Then some people thought that I had written it and wrote some crap on my blog.

Anon7:21:
You might be on to something. There is a lecturer at my university called Dr Min and I tell you what, if ever there was a candidate for a super villain it is this guy.

gbg:
...christians are hate filled, vindictive filth who use their religion as an excuse for being sociopaths.

Far be it from us atheists to ever make sweeping, offensive generalizations about people with whom we disagree. Gbg, sir or madam, I will not cry at your funeral, though I do know what to write as your epitaph.

Kathryne:
That is just about the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. I'll cry at your funeral too. Though we can't each cry at the other's funeral. Therefore I must endeavour to die first so as to hold you to your word.

Anita: I know! so many atheist scientists in the 20th century and he picks one of the few that wasn't.

Anita said...

Come on, Chris, you make sweeping, offensive generalizations about people with whom you disagree all the time.

Chris_the_Blogger said...

I funny, ironic, self referential ways.

I usually only really mean it when I'm talking about the Jews, apart from that I'm innocent!

My, my. I am not even an atheist and you completely offend me. Hate has the power to destroy the world, my friend, godlessness doesn't really have anything to do with it... well, other than fueling radical christians to be hate filled, i suppose... hmmmm. interesting. i hope you find peace.

You are horrible, Chris! I can't believe you would say such a thing about Atheists.

No one should hate this guy for his opinion, it is quite common among the ignorant masses.
He has been indoctrinated and brainwashed into a cult of death. (Islam, Christian and Jewish…three heads of the same god …Cerberus
What else can you expect from a religion that cannibalizes its savior every week. Their icon is a torture device Catholics prefer theirs with the victim still on it.
I feel nothing but pity for this blind befuddled human.
If I had a choice I would help this human see his error and place the preverbal head of god on a pike to rot in the sun.
